Summary: Software update now available for the Motorola Q A software update is now available for the Moto Q on the Motorola Software Update Live site. Please note, all units that ship from October 27th will have the latest software load and will not require this update.

Customer Requirements:

• 400MHz or higher processor speed


• 256MB RAM or higher


• Approximately 250MB of available hard disk space


• Available USB port (USB 1.1 or higher)


• Internet connectivity (Internet Explorer)


• Windows XP, (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4)


• For Q devices only, ActiveSync is required prior to using Software Update

How to check if a customer requires the upgrade:

1. Start , Settings , About


2. Check ‘Radio Version’

• Q2-BP_C_06.09.07P,Q2 Portable (Upgrade NOT required)
